It’s mainly a training tool and looks like it only would work on flat surfaces but I still love the concept.

Now if we could only (a) roof the country and (b) install floodlights on said roof, then we’d all be golfing to our hearts content!

It’s basically a normal map that has the TLDs printed on top. Well worth a look although it is a large image (6000 X 3375).

Lately, I came across these guys who are selling another TLD map but this time with their county code font size corresponding to their relative population size.

It’s a very cool idea and for $30 a superb present idea for that web nerd in your life… :)

A lot of us nowadays don’t have massive houses with wine cellars so why not stick one underneath you kitchen by getting a big circular hole dug, stick a spiral staircase in, a nice door on top and you’re ready to fill it with those 1600 bottles of wine that are lying around filling up your cupboard space.

These guys in the states are doing just that. Check out some of the finished pictures here. It just looks savage! Although I think the estimate is $30,000, I’m sure you could get a few mates around to sort it out in a weekend for a lot less…
